Topic: A yellow Cruciform flower (Messages 1 - 2)

I live in NE florida and need to identify a flower. It is a yellow four petal ( cruciform)flower, not large.
I have scaned the data here and did not find it ( but I do not know what I am looking for)
It is a plant not a vine and the leave are a thin oval that comes to a point. I took the shot in the morning so not sure if it stays open all day. It opens to almost being flat.
I have a photo but do not know how to add it here.

theres a feature called floridazle in the left hand corner thats easy and free for you to use anytime
